Paul Livingston divides his time among estate planning, assisting in the administration of decedent's estates, and advising private foundations and public charities on legal matters.

He focuses his advice not only on the legal and tax aspects of transactions in these areas but draws on almost forty years of experience to counsel families in how to most efficiently and successfully transition wealth to younger generations and explore and achieve the family’s philanthropic goals.

In his practice, Mr. Livingston assists with the formation and qualification of private foundations; advises closely held businesses, executors and trustees; assists in resolving disputes in the context of estates and trusts; and assists in modifying irrevocable trusts through modifications and decantings.

Mr. Livingston has advised a number of families in developing and implementing succession plans for family businesses and investments that have preserved family wealth for succeeding generations at minimal transfer tax costs. Mr. Livingston has a special interest in succession planning for charitable organizations.

Mr. Livingston is married to Mary, has three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys golf, boating, hunting and fishing.
