The attorneys of Schell Bray are dedicated to excellence in the practice of law and to maintaining the highest ethical standards. We seek to attract and retain lawyers whom we believe are particularly well qualified to provide both practical and innovative advice to our clients.
We're pleased to report a number of our lawyers have received special recognition for their accomplishments. We are also proud of our volunteer service within the legal profession, and of the significant involvement of our lawyers in various professional activities. In addition to our professional activities, our attorneys participate in numerous civic and charitable organizations, including serving on various boards and volunteer committees. We encourage and support this type of community and charitable involvement. Some of the professional recognitions include:
- Eleven attorneys in our firm have been listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in their respective fields.
- Nine of our members have been recognized by Business North Carolina as members of North Carolina's "Legal Elite" in their chosen areas of practice.
Seven of our members have been certified by the North Carolina State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization as specialists in their areas of practice.
Two of our members have been regularly involved with the North Carolina General Statutes Commission.
Doris Bray served on the General Statutes Commission for more than twenty years, including four years as chair, and, for such service, was designated by the Governor of North Carolina as a member of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
Several members of our firm have served as adjunct professors at the University of North Carolina, Elon, Duke and Wake Forest Schools of Law.
