Dori J. Dixon Presents at the SBA of the Carolinas – Special Needs Law Workshop

Dori J. Dixon, a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group, presented on April 29, 2017 at the Spina Bifida Association of the Carolinas Special Needs Law Workshop. Ms. Dixon’s topics included ABLE Accounts, establishing special needs trusts, and other legal issues as relevant to the Spina Bifida community.

Dori Dixon’s practice concentrates on elder law, special needs, and trusts and estates. She counsels clients on issues including special needs planning, guardianships, Medicaid, Veterans benefits, wills, trusts, estate administration, probate, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney and living wills.

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Dixon is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she teaches in the area of elder law. She currently serves as President of the NC Chapter of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
